Carlitos Páez, is one of the 16 survivors who spent 70 days in the “Cordillera de los Andes”. Known as “the man of iron spirit”, he holds a degree in Agricultural technician by The “Universidad del Trabajo” of Montevideo. He has developed this activity for 10 years.

In 1992 he started his career in advertising as a member of Nivel-Publicis creative team. He founded his own Agency, Rating Publicidad, and was Director of Bates Uruguay Publicidad.

He has been developing this activity for ten years, until he entered into the world of advertising and audiovisual. Carlos Paez has been in charge of public relations departments in major companies such as Fiorucci, YPF Argentina, New Balance, or Ferrero Rocher etc. Carlitos has a number of requests to appear on TV shows from different countries.

Since he decided to take the track of advertising and public relations, Páez has not stopped working. He was even responsible for promoting the film “Alive” (“Alive”) from Paramount and Walt Disney, in North America, Europe, Australia, Africa, Latin America and East. The movie relates his own life experience.

In 1995 he co-founded the advertising agencies’ network “One” that links agencies in Argentina and Uruguay.

His professional career added to his personal ordeal makes Carlos Páez an excellent speaker, able to convey their experiences and knowledge in a fresh and dynamic way.
